what does it mean?
4E of Danielson focuses on growing and developing professionally. In my time as a pre-service teacher, many of my professors have stressed the importance of teachers' furthering their knowledge and pedagogy for the classroom, and it is most definitely true. Learning is going to be constant and there are constantly new things for teachers to learn to enhance their knowledge. Some of these can include websites, information for colleagues, and conferences.
It is important for teacher to keep learning and developing because there is constantly new information about teaching and pedagogy and how teachers teach has greatly changed over time. If a teacher was to not grow their knowledge on new content, it could possibly hinder the students and push their development behind some of other students their age.
