What does it mean?
Demonstrating a knowledge of resources focuses on the teacher's overall familiarity of resources to use in learning and also to provide to students for extra help. The use of resources to complement already established teaching strategies and curriculum that is being taught. Resources outside of the learning process that can aid students in learning because they could apply to specific learning styles varying from student to student. These resources can be beneficial to students inside of the classroom but also assist students in the outside world. It is important for teachers to establish a comprehensive knowledge because all students are going to learn in different ways so having a complete understanding of a number of resources could help students have success in the learning atmosphere.
