What does it mean?
Establishing an environment where students want to learn is very important when it comes to the teacher's role in that, it is one thing that teachers should be aware of. This component focuses on getting students involved with their learning while learning alongside through activities. It can be very easy for students to become lazy and unmotivated, but as teachers, we need to be engaging our students and keeping them excited about learning. The biggest way a teacher can engage students in the learning process is by being engaging and exciting and the best way to do that is by having students learn in new and unique ways.
Incorporating this lesson is very important for teachers because they need to be active and present in their students learning and they need to be able to invent new techniques for learning that is going to keep students excited about learning. A good way of doing this would be teachers who mix up the way that students learn from lecturing to group work.
